Notes This porcelain was produced between the years 1813 and 1820. It was the result of the dream of one man, William Billingsley, who trained as a decorator at the famous works at Derby, graduating to the position of chief decorator. His dream was to produce the finest porcelain in the world, an achievement generally accepted at that time as being held by the factory at Sevres in France. http://www.oriel.org.uk/en/home/history/147-swansea-and-nantgarw-porcelain#P40-Plas_Plates_High_Res_02
